It is traditionally the case to look upon a room with a sloped ceiling with a grimly determined set jaw and a sad heart. We look these spaces as flawed, in need of massive aid, and even once that’s done our hearts hang heavy because these rooms will perpetually be the redheaded stepchild of our gorgeous design.
It doesn’t have to be this way. In words of someone annoying, turn that frown upside down and view the sloped ceiling as a tremendous opportunity to create the focal point of all focal points. Doing it this way you’re sure to end up with a room your as proud of, if not more proud of, than all the rest.
Just look at the options we found online in our foray for proof to match our preaching! A child’s room can be turned into a veritable wonderland replete with rainbows and seating units to rival anything found in Alice’s Wonderland. Children aren’t alone, an adult’s bedroom can become just as wonderful, presenting a unique opportunity to showcase natural fibers and unique textiles alike.

Fiducia means faith or confidence in Latin – this group of candlesticks and vases cannot stand alone, but only gain their function from being joined together – the strong magnets that link them bestow stability and flexibility.

Living with “Green” makes you feel relaxed and comfortable. Metaphys’s planters are the replacement for flowers and plants that would normally need lots of attention. Keep it moist all the time by watering every day. Water the seeds sparingly until the first sprout appears in a week or two. It grows up to 40cm – 50cm in the temperature over 20 degrees (Celsius) or 68 degrees (Fahrenheit) which is the normal room temperature. All the Metaphys’s planters come with orchard grass seeds and water retention agent. Once it grows, you can cut it so that the surface of the plants will be even.

” …I call it “New Retro-Futurism”, mix of retro design with futuristic and advanced elements. I think that the future of design is in our past experience and heritage covered with nowadays technologies. I’m a keeper of traditional creative approaches but with the very contemporary way of thinking and using of technology. If you share my vision and my way of thinking, do not hesitate to contact me…” - Dzmitry Samal

Here’s the big secret no one in the fan industry wants you to know : Fans don’t cool a room. After all – less big secret coming your way – fans are not air conditioners. This is not to say they’re worthless, quite the opposite! In fact, the reasons fan make you feel cooler is because they actually remove moisture from the skins surface, causing you to feel cooler. And if that weren’t enough of a benefit, they also can look absolutely beautiful – and we all know how much I heart art. With fans, there’s innovation happening all the time – take a look at Fanaway.com’s fan with retractable blades – ideal for the consumer who wants their cool air felt not seen. I’m a sucker for modernism (common knowledge) and this angular conception by modern fan is a real beauty. I’m also a fan – pun absolutely intended of this stunner by Fanimation. It’s funky futuristic feel make it a fresh addition to the not-so-fresh room of your choice!
