“Is it a flower? A field? A feeling…..?”
Molly Courcelle’s modern abstract art will make you ask yourself these questions. One painting could be interpreted as soft, sad even, while another could look the vibrant noises of an excited dinner party, clinking glasses and belly laughing. Molly says herself, “each painting is it’s own unique experience” perhaps from the titles of the paintings; Faith, Many Blessings, etc. you could imagine what that experience could’ve been. As the artist, Molly shows that she is not only willing to experiment with concepts, but with textures, brush effects, and focused intention on specific inspirations, like the shape of a leaf, or color of a petal. So where does she pull her inspiration from? As Molly said, “Much of it is spontaneous, much of it is reactionary. The result is a painting that is generally abstract yet essentially organic. Like most artists, it is impossible for my paintings not to reflect my thoughts and life. My faith is on the forefront of my thought life, effecting how I see everything and giving new purpose and excitement to the act of painting…creating and communicating, rejoicing and praising”

just my cup of tea- love those colors!
Nice vivid paintings you have there! I can imagine hanging them on my bedroom and staring at them before I go to bed. It’s one of those interior design ideas that might help me go to sleep and in a wonderful dream.
The good news – its affordable!!
