As if Como, Italy wasn’t enough of a dream place, JM Architecture has created a dream within a dream. When a monastery was being remodeled and converted into a residential complex, two adjacent units were connected to for complete the duplex apartment, which ended up enhancing the pitched ceilings and different heights. There are several distinct characteristics of the “dream loft”; Canadian maple hardwood floors, kitchen cabinets hidden discreetly behind a wall that slide down with a motorized system, a video projector projecting images on the kitchen wall, as well as custom designed appliances, and beyond. The pure white and open spaces make this small loft look spacious and sleek. Dream condo? Well, let me mention that George Clooney owns a home in Como also, so…..dream condo it is.

Villa Julia Small House for little people, made out of cardboard complete with stickers for personalization. Not to take away from Javier Mariscal’s whimsical design, but this house is reminiscent Jean Dubuffet. A great place for children to let their imaginations run free, they can color and add whatever delights them to the facade and interior of their play house. Guaranteed to provide days and days of entertainment.

The Distrito Capital is a modern treasure in the heart of bustling Mexico City. These beautiful cups by Ross McBride made from stainless steel and a porcelain.
The stainless steel cup has a polished mirror finish. The porcelain saucer is printed with distorted images or words. These graphics can only be viewed correctly though the curved, reflective surface of the cup. The image is indecipherable when the cup and saucer are separate.
