Try taking your eyes off of this Alice in Wonderland like space – chances are that if I were walking past, I would walk straight into the glass out of sheer amazement and awe. The ceiling of the Barcelo Raval hotel by Jordi Gali is one of the most uniquely designed ones I have ever seen, as it features 2200 Basotect ceiling cylinders made from BASF’s flexible melamine resin foam.

We received this brilliant basement conversion from Israeli Architect Tamir Addadi .
Description from the architect : The site of this project was an 85 sq m windowless basement of a private house. We were assigned to convert this basement into two apartments for singles. The project included the design and execution of the kitchens, furniture, light objects and garden. We aimed to create in this small site a multifunctional environment with a strong connection to nature and natural light.

Robox by Danish Guus Oosterbaan is a series of 9 storage boxes for kids. The designer idea was to create storage boxes that were fun to look at. Instead of boxes with repetitive motives, Robox create big robots which can be part of kids play. Each box is unique in print; each box has its own unique front, sides, backside, top and bottom.

The CG House rests on a generous 17,250 sq. ft. site adjacent to the Sierra Madre mountains. While the site’s steep slope presented a number of design challenges, the dramatic views it afforded of the city of Monterrey provided the architect with a number of opportunities as well.
