The Acapulco House located in a subdivision at Guaruja, Sao Paulo, Brazil has been designed by Flavio Castro. The house itself evidently has everything. This dream home is built on 520 square meters lot but the house itself only has an area of 340 square meters. The rest of the area was for the creation of gardens, recreational park and swimming pools.

This is a modern home that utilizes floor to ceiling windows not only to invite abundant natural lighting into the structure but also to maximize the relationship between the interiors and exteriors. The modern architecture consists of 6 squares that are grouped in pairs as far as the concept is concerned. The two opposing sides were subtracted to the equation which included the garage out front and the social spaces at the back.

We met nice people from Innit at the ICFF last week. Innit is a contemporary indoor/outdoor furniture producer from Mexico, featuring powder coated steel frames and vinyl cord, handcrafted using a Mayan weaving technique. We especially love their Acapulco Chair which is based on time-honored Mayan hammock weaving technology.
