The Novogratz Collection on CB2

Robert and Cortney Novogratz—TV’s famed husband-and-wife design duo collaborate with CB2 and created a mix of vintage and modern look furniture and home accessories. My favorite piece is the limited-edition Light Up the Family Set spells out their bold signature style, making a big statement in colorful typography on six lettered acrylic panels, each framed in brushed nickel-finished steel, to compose the word, “family.” “We created this idea for our own home because we wanted to prominently display a work of art everyone in the family could relate to. Art is a big part of our lives, and our kids are used to living with it all around them every day. We love using light as a medium because it’s fun and unexpected, and everyone can relate to it at any age. Families come in all shapes and sizes, whether yours is a family of nine like ours, a close-knit family of friends, or a family with loved and indulged pets. This piece reminds us every day to celebrate our own families.”

The Novogratz Wall Paints

Robert and Cortney Novogratz and their seven children have made stylish family life hip again in the lexicon of pop culture.

The Novogratz have built a signature design brand for themselves, with reach across the globe, creating fabulous, luxe and inspired residential projects, rebuilding entire city blocks in Manhattan, turning condemned buildings into some of the most striking homes in the city. “Houses full of fabulous design”—Emirates Home Magazine.

For more than two decades Bob and Cortney have been designing, traveling and on the constant hunt for collecting new pieces, refurbishing vintage and creating original furniture and home goods when they couldn’t find the right look in the market place. The natural progression was to launch their own home goods line. The collection retains the integrity and recognizable look of the Novogratz luxe aesthetic and seemlessly marries modern and vintage and high and low priced decor. Novogratz™ launching summer 2011.
