Eco-friendly furniture designers at Inmod are getting a day off due to their new Design Your Own Pillow offerings.  I decided to design a pillow of my own to demonstrate how fun and easy this can be.  The design starts with first picking the pattern and you have the option of picking from eight different categories.  The categories include Retro, Floral, Organic, Wildlife and more.  I chose a Geometric pattern entitled Kaia for it’s fun use of clean lines and shapes.  The next step would be your Fabric Options, where you can choose from Cotton with a 215 Thread Count, Cotton Casement, Linen/Cotton Blend and Silk Dupioni.  My choice was the breathable and versatile Linen/Cotton Blend since I wanted something light that could be used with a more casual decor.
According to Inmod, size does matters because the next step in your design are the measurements of your pillow.  You can choose between 18 x 18 or 26 x 26 – though I think it’d be great to have bigger sizes as well.  The final step and the most fun is choosing the colors for your design.  You can choose the base color and detail colors depending on the pattern you’ve chosen.  For only $50, this service gives you the chance to really personalize your home’s decor!
