German designers Justus Kraenzle and Jan-Patric Metzger of Club Cocage designed this unusual coat rack, the Roberope.  It is made from double ended marine rope that hangs directly from the ceiling, wall, exposed beam, hook, tree, etc. Concealed within the rope are geometrically spaced hooks that cause the load of the rope to always be in perfect balance and thus hang perpendicular to the ground no matter the where objects are placed.  The Roberope is approximately 13 feet long and being marine grade it can be utilized both in and outdoors. Enjoying the outdoors as I do, I can certainly see where this could come in handy for adventure travel and at home. I am always looking for minimalistic multi-use items and this design certainly suits that purpose.
