If you are as unorganized individual as me, you would probably want to hide all the clutter on your desk while you aren’t working. Look no further than the Vika Veine, an unassuming small tabletop that folds out into an excellent working space. Once opened, it literally transforms into a full-featured work desk, complete with a wide table space, felt board on the inside lid (both for absorbing ambient sound and doubling as a notice board) with pockets and paper holders, and cable outlets that run across the back. The lid uses spring hinges for gentle opening and closing. Not bad for $99 huh?

The initiative out of Netherland based architectural design studio, Ateliers Hessing & Brunings, is focused on creating a children’s furniture collection that also appeals to grown-ups. The simple forms, child-like shapes, and colors are all thoughtfully chosen to invite children to sit and play.
