Get Inspired: Picture Wall Gallery

I have a problem with the amount of blank and empty walls within my home, reserved for the inspirational images that I have seemingly been collecting forever and a day. What I need is some time with the family out of the house, to get the job done so that I may show the visitors to my home a glorious wall, or two, of photos and images that I’ve been saving up. Anyhow, I thought I’d share with you some of the examples I have seen that should serve as a source of inspiration when I get the opportunity to complete my display.Whether its classic black and white, sepia or full-color, a well arranged set of photos or images makes for a striking feature piece within a home or office. It can be inspirational images and forms, family photos, really anything that talks to you in a timeless way.

Using images and photos in this way can be a cost-effective way to bring some artistic expression into the home and, as it’s almost certainly going to be something that you love and can talk enthusiastically about with visitors to your home, can give you an enormous sense of pride and achievement. I hope the examples are as inspirational to you as they are to me. Now all I need is the time away from a busy family and career life to pull my collection together.

  1. Thanks for the inspiration, like the photo version behind the TV set. And true, I’ve been collecting images for god knows how long. Never even printed out the one’s I like yet (it just stays on the flash memory or the laptop). That being said, was recently thinking about those digital frames… you know, so I’d plug in the flash memory and the images would flick through. What’s your take on this?

  2. Thank’s for sharing some of your favorite blogs.
I often get a bit overwhelmed with how to display personal work and always looking for new ideas how to present studio work.
