No, no, we haven’t given up talking Interiors in favor of scary stories – we’re here to clean up the mess you doubtlessly have brewing beneath your stairs and turn it into a veritable storage-ready delight.
First things first – can you actually access the space? If the answer is no, stop reading and go talk to a contractor or architect. More often than not, it’s a simple process to get in there and get going.
Next up – the space itself – what the heck can you do with it? Of course there are the obvious suggestions, store Christmas lights, kitchen odds and ends, blah, blah, blah. But why do that when you can install a wet bar? For real. The hip scotch swilling days of the 1940s and 1950s are in my friend, and you’ll be riding the wave with your very own wet bar!

Those are really some great ideas, I actually love the one that incorporates the kitchen if the stairs just happen to go through there, what a great way of saving space who would have thought. Then if one really doesn’t have that much space maybe living in a loft apartment the convert the underneath of the stairs into a little computer place just love that then there is always making it into a bookcase for those avid readers they can then have their own personal library.
