1. When did you start blogging and why?
My blog was born on the spur of the moment. I moved to another country and at first I was almost without friends so I’ve had plenty of spare time after work.
In the beginning I was writing a hidden blog for design, which could be accessed by me only. but later I mustered up my courage and in October 2009, 79deas.org came to existence.
Blogging is a great way to keep in touch with people from all over the world. You also learn a lot of new things and it gives me a lot of positive emotions. Of course it costs me almost all of my spare time, but I think it’s worth it.
2. Tell us a little about your blog, your E magazines and where you are from.
My blog is the place where I share the things which impressed me during the day – beautiful photos, somebody’s great home or the work of a stylist. Sometimes, when I have some time I show my things, things that I have created – styling or an easy recipe, which my readers can prepare at home too.
79 ideas is a bilingual blog, written in English and Bulgarian – I am Bulgarian living in the lovely Prague, Czech Republic.
As for the magazines – they appear somehow naturally. First was “79 ideas magazine”, which I made for a week with the idea to give something as a Valentine’s gift to my loyal readers. Just a way to thank them for visiting my blog, writing lovely comments and emails. The other magazine – “You&Me” is a serious project and collaboration with a close friend – Lucie, with whom we share the passion for everything beautiful. It is a wedding magazine written in English and Czech, in which I am the creative director.
3. If your house were on fire, what would you grab first?
That’s a very interesting question. I am sure the first thing would be my dog and then my camera. After this if I still have time I will grab my computer and some old family objects, which have sentimental value for me.
4. The last thing you bought and loved and the thing you eyeing next?
The last thing that I bought actually did not yet arrive – new lens for my camera, therefore I will tell you for the pervious one that I bought. Gorgeous ceramics by an young Bulgarian designer – Ralitsa Yovkova.
As for the next thing – I hope it will be in the form of plane tickets to USA and then Cuba.
5. Describe your dream home.
My dream home would definitely have big windows, white walls and a Chesterfield sofa.
6. What are you wishing for the new year?
For the new year I am wishing first of all strong health and to be positive – these are very important things. Also maybe we should notice and value more the small things around us.
All the photos are from Radostina Boseva portfolio.
