The Aqualina Residence is located beside a scenic mountain and offers stunning views of the neighboring island of Koh Phangan. The dream home is a very unusual modern holiday villa specifically located in Koh Samui, Thailand. This modern home offers greater perspective in every standing point. I find its layout really interesting as it follows an L-Shape. The modern architecture is surrounded by a swimming pool and offers impressive views of the sea and beyond.
The house floor plans were perfectly implemented so that it renders the architecture warm and accommodating. If I would go on a holiday away from the city’s busy air, I would choose to be in one of these impressive villas. It has a triangular shaped main living space, which I find rather interesting. It is reflected on the pool and it features the glass windows allowing the exterior views and landscape to adorn even the interiors. The landscape becomes a significant part of the architecture and I love the abundance of natural light in this villa.
Furthermore, the villa exudes warmth through its wooden paneled wall that incorporates black granite counter. This is the marriage of two materials – classic (wood) and modern (granite). I find the entertainment system really interesting and this is one of the glamorous features of the villa. It demonstrates relaxation and comfort away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
It is interesting to note the use of cylindrical white pillars and white floors, which create contrast to the leather sofas and colorful cushions. The Aqualina Residence has a total of three bedrooms that illustrates elegant and minimalist design approach. The overall interior design is impressive and in many ways very inspirational.
I like how the great kitchen makes me feel – it is like having your own restaurant. It evokes a sense of modernity yet the traditional touch is there. The bathroom design is like one of those you can see in five-star hotels.
The modern house has sustainable features including the covered roof structures, which is equipped with cooling properties as well as the adapted water preservation and collection system. Overall, I find this villa interesting and welcoming.
