Molnar Freeman Architect’s Belleuve Hill Residence is a picture of modernity. Its square, sectioned off modular design allows for floor to ceiling windows on almost every wall, giving way to a feeling that everything indoors is intimately connected to the outside.
The wall at the home’s front side is almost solid except for a covered gated door, giving the owners privacy while masking the true size of the residence from those who see it from the front. Step through that gate though, and you’re met with a scene that’s almost overwhelming.
The home’s public spaces downstairs are open and loft-like. The interior design is carefully sectioned off into more intimate spaces where couches face each other in small groups, each with their own purpose. Whether you’re eating dinner at the dining table or relaxing in one of the intimately organized couches, there’s almost always a clear view out onto the landscaped private spaces outside.
Solid concrete stairs that look like they almost float, connect the first and second floor. Upstairs, residents will find themselves in a similarly decorated modern space with a master suite closet and bathroom combination worthy of celebrity status. Built about the size of an entire room, everything is sectioned off in clean white compartments with drawers, shoe cubbies, beautiful shelving, and a built in feel. A sturdy woven flooring keeps the space warm but resistant to wear and tear, and a perfectly sized bathroom around the corner from the closet and near the window, completes the master suite perfectly.
