Elias Rizo Arquitectos completed a project that grabbed the Building of the Year Awards in 2011 – none other than the dream home Casa Almare. This amazing, modern home is located in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco standing on a grand 837-square meter area.
The modern architecture can be found on one of the amazing beaches of Jalisco and as this is the case it has been designed with Mexican inspired modern style. The house floor plans were impeccably implemented to complement the interior design. The house rests on a cliff overlooking the ocean, which is the basis for its distinct shape allowing expansive views to the Bahia de Banderas.
There are 4 floors and a half in this architecture that houses all the bedrooms and public domains. Every living space in this inspirational home has visual connection with the ocean through the large floor to ceiling glass giving it a fresh and stylish design. The use of floor to ceiling glass invites the outside into the inside yet the home still has some levels of privacy, which is ultimately important in the design process. The interior becomes part of the exterior and vice versa without compromising on the function of each.
Both the interiors and exteriors of the house have the unmistakable contemporary style that will make every onlooker’s jaw drop. At a glance, it is definitely a sophisticated architecture designed not only for comfort but also for style.
Upon closer inspection, you will see that the entire living space from first level up to the fourth provides not only elegance but functions as a cozy retreat that will relax the residents.
The great kitchen is a beauty to behold and of course not to mention the simplicity and sophisticated modernity of the bathroom design. Both areas complement the entirety of the modern house as a whole. They are undeniably neat and chic without sacrificing the functionality of each adding to the magnificence of the home.
Overall, the dream home is definitely a must-see for inspiration both as an architecture and interior design.
