Celio Apartment is genuinely created as a form of art yet it doesn’t deviate from its original function as a dream home. Carola Vannini is an Italian designer who created this masterpiece. The modern home stands royally within the 2,580 square foot area located in Colosseo, Rome. The luxurious apartment was revamped by implementing complete and detailed design house floor plans.
The project brief includes the need of opening the space leading to the exterior landscape. The modern architecture also includes generating a design that will create light and airy rooms. For the day area, it mainly features the great kitchen space which is designed as a solitary and exclusive volume. It is separated from the ceiling and floor through continued LED lights. Two sliding glass doors are installed to open and close the kitchen according to the needs.
The kitchen possessed what you call as “sculptural valence” which generally minimizes its real function. Nonetheless, the practicality of space is still intact through the use of large cabinets and white kitchen island for quick meals or work top.
The living room has lesser flair but the interior design includes the smart choice of furniture and furnishings designed primarily by the architects. The interior decoration has provided a sense of balance to the architecture of the interiors of the home. Lighting systems have been carefully chosen, placed and implemented in order to put emphasis on the created perspectives and depth of space.
There is also a direct relationship between the interiors with the exterior area emphasized by the wooden floor extending from the interior space towards the balcony. Through the installation of the black doors and frames of windows, it has created a paint-like effect to the natural landscape making it a part of the décor of the interior side while maintaining the relationship between the two.
Private spaces include the bedrooms and bathroom design as well as the office space each complementing the interiors of the architecture. A corridor will lead to these private spaces and is designed in a way that space is opened through niches and lights. The built-in cupboard has impeccably merged with the entire architecture. Classical doors were given up and were replaced with backlit printed Plexiglas paneling.
There were several windows that were reopened and the modern interior was changed in order to create different perspectives. Truly this is a design worthy to check out where fairy tale comes true and modernity becomes an art.
