We have been following Sergey Makhno’s work for quite a while and this dream home – a Contemporary Apartment in Kiev – is the recently completed project. It is a beautiful 90-square meter modern home located at the heart of Kiev.

The interior design of the modern architecture is mixed in terms of style. You can see the concrete ceiling is combined with the white eclectic wall paneling as well as various furniture pieces adding a classic touch to the interiors.

I love how the modern architects connected the great kitchen and the dining area. It demonstrates functionality and seamless flow of the living spaces. I noticed that the house floor plans were implemented to accommodate simple yet elegantly modern interior design. I must way that the entire layout gave rise to an authentic look, unusual, modernized and simply alluring living space – all at the same time.

The bathroom design is stunning and breathtaking. It takes comfort, intimacy and privacy to another yet unexplored level. Its modernity is apparent and I could not stress it enough. Even though the connection between the bedroom and the bathroom is heightened, I find this connection extremely intimate and a subtle touch of classic is perfect for this design.

Indeed, this project by Sergey Makhno is inspirational and I find it hard to resist thinking that this should be the quiet retreat I want to come home to.
