I find this Contemporary Duplex Penthouse really intriguing. For one, it defied the urban trend which is rampant in New York. This is the recent project of Cary Tamarkin and I would dare say – it’s really impressive and that’s just the least of what I can say. I think I found no exact word to describe this penthouse.
Specifically, the penthouse occupied the 10th and 11th floor of a building located on the West 19th Street in New York. The modern home features expansive and breathtaking views of the Hudson River, the cityscape and the High Line Park. It has ultra-modern interiors with sleek and sophisticated interior design. I can’t say I’m a fan of overly modern architecture but I guess in every rule there will always be an exception. I like how this duplex penthouse looks – clean, sleek and professional.
In addition, the residents of this penthouse will be provided with a private outdoor space, which reaches around 1,170 square feet including the curved balconies and sheltered terrace.
The centrally located living room has an awe-inspiring double-height, where the modern architects implemented a perfect house floor plans. The living room also had abundant supply of natural light through its tall window walls and it illustrates highly modern design.
I love the great kitchen – well to say the least it captured my attention – more than anything. It looked uncluttered and the transition of the living spaces looked neat, perfect and seamless. The dining area featured the large dining table, wide fireplace and the flooring finished with beautiful white oak all added into the sophistication of design. Did I say the interiors are impressive?
The bathroom design did not deviate from the modern design of the entire architecture. The total living space of the house is 2,350 square feet and it offers no less than the impressive bedrooms and three bathrooms. All the living spaces features the dominance of modern style. The layout is inspirational and I think I just found the modern counterpart of my dream home.
