If there is one great kitchen I will never get tired looking at, it is this project by Catlin Stothers – an Elegant Home indeed. In this dream home, I find the seamless combination between the new and old. I cannot describe is with mere simplicity and authenticity.

I think it goes beyond just truth and straightforwardness to the designs. The modern home is not so modern in my eyes after all the design is a meeting – a seamless union of the class and contemporary. It is neither a nod to modernity nor a touch of the traditional but it is a huge mixture of design elements that gave rise to a very attractive and elegant home. Caitlin Stothers sure nailed this one and I can feel my heart beating for all design elements found in this project.

Back to my original favorite – the kitchen, you would probably agree with me when I say it is beyond lovely. It all looked pristine, impeccable and perfect – I might probably say all the description I can find but all may fall short. None can describe this modern architecture particularly the impressive interior design as accurately as excellent but even then if you ask me it is still not enough.

The interiors had distinct touches of little things – quirkiness, humor and even warmth. I could go on saying the furnishings have the relaxed and stylish vibe that’s more than just objects within architecture. This place is really awesome in every sense of the word. All living spaces are functional and practical but with an easy-go characteristics.

I love how the designer set the mood – one moment light and another dark. It is a marriage of materials and I find this stunningly impressive. The layout is definitely inspirational. If I don’t know better, I’d say everything about this design is magic. The interiors are set to give the space unbound romance and intimacy that should’ve been what dream homes are all about.
