Every dream home tells a story – a resulting collaboration of the modern architects and the owner. The same is true with House D&VW. Even though no information was still posted regarding the owner, designers or architects of the house, the story that this modern home tells is there. This magnificent modern architecture is located on a trapezium sit. During construction, the shape was borrowed on the same trapezium sit hence the look of the resulting house.
However, the implementation of the house floor plans and the shape of the construction did not render this luxury home uniqueness or distinction alone. What makes it unique is the fact that it has the overwhelming window on top that overlooks the valley situated nearby. And, this is the focal point of the interior design.
At a glance, it may seem like there was some error in the process of construction hence the big window yet overall it gives the construction a sense of individuality and uniqueness not present anywhere else. The inspirational layout of this home provides a sense of modernity and style not common to traditional homes of today. One can still see the incorporation of the traditional windows that were perfectly installed and fitted in between uniform gaps and distances on the walls but everything still revolves around the distinctive characteristic of the overwhelming window.
This is a very nice and airy home that makes you breathe freely inside as it is outside. The atypical form of a trapezium is just an added characteristic that makes one think it is what makes this house stand out. But apart from the overwhelming window, the addition of the steel screen on the first level also gives personality to the architectural design. This is a sculptural approach that was continued within the interiors of the home.
The great kitchen and the entire house use white marble as the finish making the interior definitely pure and clean. This crisp monochrome interior functions as a great floating backdrop as the interior is filled with furniture and furnishings including the 20th Century design classics such as a set of Arne Jacobsen 3107 chairs around the Eames dining table. A pair of bright orange Pastilli Chairs by Eero Aarnio can also be seen within the home and of course the sofa coming from Patricia Urquiola for B&B Italia.
All of these things found within the architecture contribute to the overall beauty and style it provides.

Sure does big window wall looks award but I bet there is plenty of natural light and dimmed sunshine inside of the house throughout the whole day. Interesting touch

Thanks for your.I think the market moved fast in 2009 and 2010 and there may be folks who feel they’ve missed the boat. I hope they listen to your words and just follow in the path. The tried and true path – keep it simple. Over the years, when live gone off into more deals, it has not worked well for me at all. It was always been my basic residential portfolio that’s saved the day.
