I immediately fell in love with Live Home Studio in San Francisco by O Plus A led by Primo Orpilla and Verda Alexander. I’m terribly excited to delve deeper in my discovery of this incredible dream home. O Plus A is the “go-to” interior design company that was able to capture what nature has offered inside a modern home.
David Boone, an office architect, built the modern architecture in the year 1972 with strict distinction between pleasure and work. Hence, the architectural design has two apparent units connected through the indoor bridge. The modern architects at O Plus A firm turned this indoor bridge into a chamber that brings together pleasure and work again. It is the focal point of design where everything else revolves.
The living room space is wide-open, spacious, light and airy – something that I would expect in a home. Its interior decoration is composed of natural wood and vintage furniture demonstrating the classic touch that complements the existing natural ingredients surrounding the structure. You will also find chairs by Frank Gehry and Warren Platner as well as the credenza by Christopher Deam. The aesthetic aspect is completed by Alexander’s metal sculpture.
I personally like the great kitchen and bathroom design – they are as functional as they are aesthetically appealing and straightforward. For me, it is the heart and soul of every dream home I desired to have.
The bedrooms and the home office are accessed through the sky bridge and the spacious office is waiting for creative work down below. It defines the project title “Live Home Studio” because it illustrates that we can work all day without sacrificing pleasure. For me, this is what exactly defines an inspirational layout.
