It is a pleasure to present the Søren Rose Kjær Home in Tribeca. This beautiful dream home is beyond words for me to describe. In fact, I don’t know whether there are words that could paint this picture with accuracy and precision. This amazing loft in Tribeca, New York belongs to Søren Rose Kjær himself who has been commuting from Copenhagen to New York or vice versa because of work.
After this somewhat tiresome routine, he decided to move in and relocate his family to the city that never sleeps. If you’re not familiar with Søren Rose Kjær, let me introduce you to him – he is an artist, entrepreneur and self-taught designer who founded Søren Rose Studio. He was the one who designed the lighting and furniture collections for various companies including Danish and Belgian Muuto as well as the De La Espada – a British manufacturer.
This modern home is located in an old building, originally a factory and was transformed into a big open living space with perfectly implemented house floor plans including the upstairs area where the sleeping quarters are located. Søren has a strong belief that interior design is about quality and detail and even though it doesn’t usually involve intricacies the gorgeous quality of the home doesn’t stop there.
To enhance the interiors, the large lofty room was created which becomes the living room where the family gathers around much. The key to the beautiful and inspirational layout of the home is to have few things that left striking impact or impression to anyone who looks at it at different perspectives. I fell in love with the home’s great kitchen where you can prepare special dishes without any concerns at all.
The modern and classical designs meet in this very unique interior, where good taste in terms of furniture choices is perfectly demonstrated.
