The dream home referred to as the Surfside Residence is specifically located in Montauk, State of New York. At a glance, this modern home created and designed by Steven Harris Architects looked like boxes on top each other but I could find its glow really attractive especially the lighting system installed on it. But, liking it in its entirety is an understatement because the Surfside Residence is a relaxing retreat away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It is located in the midst of lush greenery provided with four rooms, swimming pool, spa and private access to the beach hence its name.

The house floor plans implemented by the modern architects managed to combine all design elements as well as functional living spaces without sacrificing style and design. The functional flow of the modern architecture is seamless and smooth. I cannot say that the house is ultra-modern but it is modern in the sense that the house plans and the materials utilized for its design are contemporary.

However, there is something about the Surfside Residence that evoked something warm in me. The house evoked a summer feeling like you’d never grow tired enjoying the warmth of summer and the relaxing joy it brings. I specifically love the bathroom design – simple yet intimate and the essence of a bathroom is in its heart. The great kitchen is sleek as well as neat and uncluttered.

The interiors were combined with the exteriors through the use of sliding picture windows allowing the exteriors become part of the interiors and vice versa. If I would be given the opportunity to own a summer-all-throughout home, this would be it and I love how it gives undying warmth like sunrise. I’m sure many summer-lovers out there would find this every bit attractive as I do, wouldn’t you?
