MK-Interio was tasked to design the interiors of this I’d say rather Unusual Apartment. The total area of the interior design is 220 square meters. Alexander and Maria Kazakovtsev Makhonina led the team to complete the project in August, 2009. I find the design of this dream home very comforting yet ultra-modern.

The concept of the design was developed when the clients requested an unusual and striking space yet straightforward and convenient modern living space. I must say MK-Interio nailed this one. The modern architects at MK-Interio completed the project with clean and smooth edges on its architectural line. It also has heightened functionality as requested by the clients.

Personally, I find the seamless flow of space very attractive and comforting to look at. It has expanded living room windows that invited the exterior space inside. The great kitchen is slightly separated from the living room by a wall in what can be concluded as the most unusual form.

I find the bathroom design of this modern architecture very alluring and utterly functional. It looks reminiscent of a classic movie in a modern setting.

The perfectly implemented house floor plans allowed for the airy, light and clear space but still projected a very unique image. Therefore, it doesn’t come as a surprise that this inspirational layout was nominated in 2010 in the “INTERIA AWARDS” for the interior design category.
