Casas da Fonte is a particularly compelling development that caught my eye at the tail end of 2009, so when the property developers reached out to me recently I was excited to learn more and feature it on our site. Comprised of five contemporary homes, Casas da Fonte combines the elements of Design, Innovation, Affordability and a Rural/Countryside location. Located in Oliveira de Azeméis, which is in the north of Portugal near the country’s second largest city, Porto, this is a project consisting of 5 properties; with four homes boasting 4-bedrooms and a further 3-bedroom home.
Meticulously designed to satisfy even the most discerning homebuyer, these homes blend style and efficiency with natural elements and include a courtyard with private pool to offer outstanding value for money for such luxury residences. Boasting the latest state-of-the-art air conditioning and home automation systems, with the highest energy efficiency ratings, the Casas de Fonte development, due to its south-facing position, also cleverly incorporates breath-taking luminosity from Mother Nature to provide a distinct ambience to the rooms throughout the home.
I’d love to see more contemporary architects follow the methods employed by Matéria Modular, and the constructors, in the Casas de Fonte development, as the fact that it is pleasing to one’s eye, the environment and the bank balance truly sets this apart from other modern living developments.
