The natural material was the original material chosen by Danish architect Arne Jacobsen to furnish the Series 7 design and is an important part of Scandinavian design history due to its genuineness.
The designs natural beauty is embraced by Danish furniture manufacturer Fritz Hansen who is introducing the Series 7 in a range of wood veneer variations including Maple, Ash, Beech, Cherry, Oregon Pine, Elm, Oak, Walnut and Dark Stained Oak. With each type of wood veneer naturally holding hundreds of shades of colour, it is always possible to find a kind of wood that matches your existing interior.
