The HiFi Lounge Chair, designed by Ehren Gaag, is made from curved plywood with a faux exotic wood veneer and/or upholstery. The chair has the option of either a high or low back and is also available with or without arm rests. The frame is made of powder coated steel, offered in nine standard colors. There is extensive range of exotic wood veneer finishes including Walnut and Zebrawood to name a couple. The detailing and stitching of the upholstery is more on par with that of a fine sports car rather than your average chair. The HiFi Lounge Chair is durable enough to be used as corporate seating, but has the clean lines and sense of luxury that would serve to functionally embellish any home environment. The styling of the wood and upholstery options are beautiful, but the base design is really what first caught my eye. Also offered in the HiFi Collection are an ottoman, occasional table, bench and settee.
