Bar Agricole didn’t just receive much praise for food but on its décor and design as well. The combination of industrial, handcrafted and recycled components created a modern and warm atmosphere.
The restaurant design’s success has been attributed of the uniqueness of its location in San Francisco. Aidlin Darling Design has poured out their best into the project and as a result they become co-owners. The inclusion of the billowing glass sculptures into the restaurant design has made it very contemporary. The walls are clad with oak strips reclaimed from barrels of whiskey. The building demonstrates classic as it has been developed from a 1912 warehouse but the addition of the corrugated-zinc curtain. The building represents that of a green living and thus it made it to the top green projects. The Aidlin Darling Design firm in San Francisco has already applied for LEED platinum.
The amazing restaurant is like a modern-day tavern in a befitting location at the industrial South of Market district. The classic-urban style of the establishment has been illustrated in details through the use of different materials. The inspiration of such design has been taken from the sustainable roots of agriculture extending it not only to the building’s design but also its various menus.
The elegant style of this amazing restaurant has captured the hearts of many. Utilizing complementary colors in combination with the durable and smart choice of furniture, it exemplifies what no other has emphasized – contemporary living with the right dose of what’s classic.
The focal point of the bar design is the inclusion of the clear glass tube curtains that became the skyline of the restaurant design which allows natural sunshine from the skylights.
