CitizenM London Bankside is the first hotel built by an acclaimed hotel group called CitizenM. Personally, this is the first time that I’ve encountered such a hotel design, which was implemented and completed by Concrete Architectural Associates.
The opening of its doors on July 4, 2012 in London was just in time for the Olympics. The new hospitality design houses 192 rooms and is specifically located at Bankside, London. This area is one of London’s most exciting cultural and business districts. The hotel is just minutes away from the Tate Modern Museum, Millennium Bridge and Globe Theater.
By the looks of it, this boutique hotel takes on a concept that guests would find unusual but will also consider it irresistible. It illustrates high-end design, creativity, innovation, top-notch technology, versatility and convenience. With certain subtle improvements, the CitizenM ensures that modern travellers would find what they want and require within its premise.
The hotel interiors are modern yet there is a subtle touch of traditional hotel interior design and for me this is what makes it stand out – unusual yet warm and accommodating. The Concrete Architectural Associates developed a design, hotel specifically, that requires broad understanding of a unique creation. I happen to be a fan of authentic designs and in this case the masterpiece is this beautiful hotel.
