There are hotels that simply act as a room away from home while on vacation, and then there are hotels spaces that provice their own experience and adventure. Newly opened and in the heart of Berlin is Europe’s first music hotel, sitting in the center of the city’s music, fashion, and creative scene. Designed by international designer Karim Rashid, Nhow Berlin looks as though you walked into a sound speaker, and found your self sleeping and playing amongst the music vibrations.
Conceptualized around music and design, futuristic Nhow is the only hotel in Europe offering two professional music studios. To accomplish the design, Rashid used Tau-Porcelanattos ceramics to transform the interior of the hotel into avant-garde masterpiece. Bold forms and color create an energy filled space and make each of the 304 rooms into a unique and individual experience.
The hotel’s two towers are designed for different needs. The East Tower rooms feature a sunset color scheme of warm golds and invigorating fuchsia. The West Tower Technolux rooms have cooler color schemes of grey, blue and pale pink. Located by the river Spree, which once separated the Eastern and Western parts of Berlin, Nhow bridges the era of digital media and a visitor’s physical and spiritual needs. Move over Hard Rock Hotels, you may have some stiff competition dancing your way!
