The new restaurant in the eye of modern design lovers and travelers is Muzedechanga (meaning “Change at the museum” in Turkish) in Istanbul, Turkey. Situated in the lush gardens of Sakip Sabanci Museum this mid-century style was designed by the award winning Autoban Design Team; with custom made furniture the owners wanted the restaurant to “evoke the feelings of their parents homes in the 60’s and 70’s” with touches of mid 20th century interiors and Scandinavian design.

The mood is set with natural oak, carefully placed lighting, brass and copper-toned mirrors, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for art lovers and beyond. During the day expect a lighter fare, while the nighttime diners can expect this restaurant to be transformed into a fine dining restaurant, with a selection of Turkish dishes highlighted with Mediterranean flavors and textures. If you aren’t convinced by now, Muzedechange won Wallpaper magazine’s 2007 design award for Best New Restaurant!
