It is like a buffet palace – a place where every day is like a party. This is the impression that the Aria Restaurant designed by Urszula Tokarska & Stephen R. Pile Architect gave me. It made me feel like those Raimond Lamps from Moooi are firework display. It is like anytime soon it would magically show a romantic wedding reception where everyone is having a good time.
I don’t really have those kinds of sentiments – as much as possible I would want a design that is realistic but somehow this restaurant design provides a way for exploring the possibility that somewhere within us – a person with a deep sense of imagination lies. I like how the bottles were turned to be part of the design element on the walls of the bar.
The structures hanging out from the ceiling gives it fluidity. It is authentic and original even for a place where elegance and sophistication seems to be the primary objective.
The restaurant interiors are definitely modern and inspiring in more ways than one. It gives a whole new perspective about what an amazing restaurant must be so that when you eat there it does not give you the taste of food alone but also experience the place.
