Wegner’s ceiling lamp, ‘The Pendant’ (classification L306), is possibly the most famous of his designs, and for a good reason. The lamp’s integrated metal handle and height adjustment system have been imitated constantly over the last 50 years, but the original still surpasses all. The ingenious part to the adjusting system is how the handle makes it possible to move the lamp up and down without toughing the aluminum lampshade. (via)
The next time I redesign my dining room, I’m buying this lamp. I love this timeless design.
