The 2010 Miami Yacht Show has just finished, running from February 11-15 each year. We like to keep an eye on this event, as it often yields some spectacular interior design elements – and this year was no exception.
One of the stars of this year’s show, the LSX92 by Lazzara Yachts, is part of a group of new-to-market super yachts that are bringing the sleek design we associate with a yacht’s exterior styling into the cabin areas.
There are many aspects of the engineering of the LSX92 to marvel at, that you can read in this great article on the SuperYachts.com website, but we at ChicTip are more interested in the design of the internal accommodation.
The main cabin area, with a kitchen and dining area for entertaining, resembles a fine dining experience that wouldn’t be out of place at the most exclusive of Manhattan restaurants. Elegant, with classic clean lines, the contemporary modern design is both tasteful and luxurious.
The bathrooms are spa-like, with excellent use of dark woods to add warmth and texture to the stainless steel, ceramic and glass appointments.
The Master Bedroom is exquisite; with the love seat under the curved windows a very classy touch that finishes the room perfectly.
Finally, there’s even room for an outside both at the side and the rear of the vessel. It’s fascinating to watch the use on contemporary interior design gaining traction in the yacht space, as traditionally such expensive items played safe with high-gloss rich wood interiors. We hope to see more of the yacht makers get on board with modern styling in the cabin areas of their future vessels.
