Store Design: Stills Flagship Store by Doepel Strijkers

Doepel Strijkers strikes again on the new Stills Flagship Store. The store design has been created featuring the clothes and accessories floating throughout the design. They were concealed within an elaborate lattice of wood at an Amsterdam boutique.

This amazing store has a white-painted grid branches created into each corner of the two-story store. This operates as the flagship store for the fashion brand “Stills.”

Some of the fashionable garments hang from the framework to display their stylish designs while others were folded into clear glass shelves that were positioned randomly into the entire store space.

Basically, this retail design is all about the fashionable garments of the brand Stills. It features the product more than anything thus Doepel Strijkers design a store that will bring out the best of the garments without compromising the interior design as its backdrop.

This is really a great design for retail that seeks the attention of anyone looking for new garments for their wardrobe. They incorporated dressed mannequins into the design that appear to be climbing the wooden frame. The changing rooms were hidden behind the two mirrored doors.

In Amsterdam particularly on the Cornelis Schuijtstraat, the flagship store has been realized with spatial interventions in the hull that visually connects the two floors. This has been subtly put in place but still visible to show additions, emphasis and finishing the layers over time.

The original shop has been transformed yet the previous commercial design remained visible in the design. Doepel Strijkers utilized patterns of textures into the existing building to complement the objects being placed inside the architecture. This is what they called as a spatial translation that was based entirely on the values of the label.

As the brand Stills seeks sophistication through novel combinations, Doepel Strijkers complement this vision by incorporating the styles, looks and feels of the objects into their physical counterpart. It has been spoken through the intrinsic qualities of materials as they worked with the brand as its foundation, treat them and combine them in such a way that completed the design.

The shop design was all about the products but it was created with a concept that does not leave off the fact that the backdrop is equally important in its success. Whether customers will find the products alluring or the interior design appealing, it all depends on the balance created within the store space, which no one can deny has been irrevocably done in this store.

Doepel Strijkers design a shop solely for keeping the balance between the products and the architectural design.
