Vallila Autumn collection 2012 “Taju kankaalla” is full of flashy colours, graphic patterns, strong contrasts, vintage spirit and a touch of magic. Their newest fabrics incorporate views from Helsinki celebrating the city’s designation as this year’s World Design Capital.
The name of Vallila‘s collection “Taju kankaalla” implies the transfer of consciousness onto fabrics. The themes are Vintage, Fantasy, Folklore and Metropolis. Four different themes are designed by a whole bunch on designers including Tanja Orsjoki, Matleena Issakainen, Elizabeth Salonen, Saara Eklund, Riina Kuikka, Erik Bruun, Markku Piri, Zoltan Popovits and Howard Smith.(via)
