Deborah Bowness has been in the wallpaper game for several years, but that doesn’t mean her work is stale. It’s the opposite. Rather than churn out the same-old patterns year after year, her hand-printed paper maintains edge, insight, and wry humor – something to be lauded – and purchased! I’m a huge fan of her “Wallpaper Frock” paper that is a narrative in and of itself. Closer to hanging valances, these pieces hang at different lengths and are printed with different articles of clothing hanging, giving the illusion of your wall as walk in closet. Urban and cool, these are on my must-have list!
