Wallpaper no longer has to hang (forgive the pun) in the background, thanks to sisters-in-design Maria and Ekaterina Yaschuk. The London-based pair have devised a clever way to embed LEDs and Swarovski crystals into wallpaper to brilliant effect, taking wallpaper from its traditional role as backdrop to a new one as design feature. Each of their three lines offer up bold geometric and/or floral motifs, often combined in such a way as to appear someone three-dimensional—an effect only augmented by the (optional) addition of the LEDs and crystals.
