I read about this fabulous wallpaper on Bltd‘s website, it’s a Paintable. Temporary. Wallpaper. Whether you’re renting or you have kids (or you’re just artistically fickle) this stuff is something to try out. It’s a vinyl coated self adhesive wallpaper, and you can use almost any art supplies to decorate it however you want. Tempaper also has quite a few designs to choose from should you wish for a more traditional patterned paper.

I recently purchased some Tempaper through the mail. I was in a hurry so I had it shipped priority. Initially, the service was great and the product looked good at first glance.
We found installation much trickier than their website would have you believe. And, the product smells TERRIBLE (the smell dissipates after about ten days) as it is vinyl. The real drag however, was that two of the rolls were damaged. I had a tight timeline so I had to install it anyways. There are horizontal “rub” marks every eight inches or so.
When I complained and sent pictures to Tempaper they were not at all responsive and insisted we needed to return the product…. after spending hundreds of dollars and hours installing it. We pointed out to them that this would require us pealing it off the wall and then it would all stick to itself and the marks would not be visible.
After a lot of back and forth they agreed to send us one “free” roll. Much to my surprise, the roll arrived COD and cost an additional $40 (I am in Canada).
All in all, I found the product to be okay follow service and lack of interest in their poor quality of the rolls we receive, to be galling. I have only had one other dissatisfying experience buying products over the internet and the follow-up service and response I received made Tempaper look amateur.
