If you’re looking for something cute yet minimal-retro-modern for a child’s room or nursery, the Modern Animal line of laser-cut bamboo clocks from designer Maiko Kuzunishi’s studio Decoy Lab fits the bill. This bear, squirrel, owl and (our favorite) semicircular elephant are cute without being cloying, and are mercifully tick-less (after all, who doesn’t sleep better in silence?).
